The story of giant panda Er Qiao is truly fascinating. Contrary to the lively and playful image we often have of giant pandas, Er Qiao (二巧) represents a calmer and more introverted side of these extraordinary animals. The sweet little panda was born on August 13, 2011, at the China Giant Panda Conservation and Research Center. Er Qiao is a gentle-spirited female who prefers calm and solitude to the chaos of herds of other pandas. Her story, from shy cub to loving mother of three, is a touching example of maternal dedication in the animal world.
