Hong Kong Post announces the issuance of five special stamp series for the July-December 2025 period, featuring significant cultural and nature themes. Among the most anticipated series is the "Giant Panda Twin Cubs," celebrating Hong Kong's first panda twins, Jia Jia and De De. Born to Ying Ying and Le Le, the panda couple donated by China, the twins born on August 15, 2024, have captivated the city. The stamps will illustrate the various stages of their growth and significant moments in their daily lives, highlighting the importance of conserving this iconic species.

In addition to the pandas, Hong Kong Post will also issue a series dedicated to the "24 Solar Terms – Autumn." The latter, part of UNESCO's intangible cultural heritage, includes the six autumnal terms, such as the Beginning of Autumn and the Autumnal Equinox. This series builds on previous issues dedicated to the seasons and traditional Chinese culture, connecting nature and time. In support of the strategic plan to transform Hong Kong into an international airport hub, a special series on the development of the local aviation industry will be published, highlighting the sector's expansion and importance to the city.
The offering is rounded out with two themed sets: the third series on Hong Kong's hiking trails, featuring the Wilson Trail, and a collection of Christmas stamps. These releases reinforce Hong Kong's cultural and natural identity, offering collectors and enthusiasts a unique opportunity to discover the city's many facets. The stamps will be available from August 15, 2025, throughout the postal network and online, with dedicated philatelic products such as first day covers, souvenir sheets, and prepaid cards, designed for enthusiasts and collectors. This initiative underscores Hong Kong's commitment to promoting heritage and environmental conservation through philately.
